Wheelspin Models

Wheelspin Models is a specialist model and hobby store in Cannock offering radio-controlled cars, spares, accessories and a sizeable retail selection. The business also operates Wheelspin Raceway, an indoor permanent RC track located above the shop.

The raceway runs public practice sessions, club races (BRCA-affiliated), hire cars and private hire; the shop provides parts, batteries and servicing supplies for on-site use. Contact details and booking info are published on the official site.

An active model shop with a working RC track above the warehouse space; expect a mix of retail customers and racers during busy times.

Look out for:

• A 1:10 scale carpeted race track (EOS race carpet) designed for 2WD/4WD buggies.

• Live timing using MyLaps LiveTime and transponder timing for organised events.

• Club and BRCA-affiliated race meetings alongside public practice sessions.

• Hire cars and private-hire options for visitors without their own kit.

Best way to experience it:

Check the raceway schedule or email raceway@wheelspinmodels.co.uk before visiting for practice or hire availability. If you plan to race in BRCA events, confirm membership requirements and any event-specific rules in advance.

• The raceway is on the first floor and has no lift.

• BRCA membership is required to participate in affiliated races.

• Private hire and car hire options are available; book via the raceway contact.

• Shop hours and contact details are listed on the official website (phone: 01543 577278, email: support@wheelspinmodels.co.uk).
