Ducati MX Experience

The Ducati Motocross Experience is a one‑day riding course using Ducati Desmo450 motocross bikes with tuition from ACU‑approved instructors led by ex‑GP rider Barry Johnson. The day includes bike hire, full riding kit, fuel and public liability insurance.

Sessions run at regional MX venues (West Midlands, West Sussex and others); participants must be 18+ and have prior motorcycle riding experience. Typical day timings are around 10:00–15:30/16:00 and numbers are limited for focused coaching.

You’ll spend the day riding Ducati Desmo450 motocross bikes under structured coaching aimed at improving technique and confidence on varied MX tracks.

On the day

• Bike, helmet, boots, chest protector and fuel provided; arrive in casual clothes and bring personal gloves if preferred.
• Small-group tuition with on‑track drills, line selection, braking and jumping practice, plus coached timed sessions.
• Runs take place on outdoor dirt tracks that vary by venue; expect changing surface conditions and full MX protective briefings.
• Day usually includes safety briefing, progressive practice sessions, lunch break and a final coached ride to consolidate skills.
