TAMIYA PLAMODEL FACTORY TOKYO is Tamiya’s flagship model shop and experience space in Shimbashi, showcasing plastic models, Mini 4WD, RC cars, tools and paints across extensive retail shelving and displays. The relocated store reopened on May 24, 2024, in the Shintora Yasuda Building and serves as a hub for hobbyists and visitors.

The venue includes a café operated with ONIBUS COFFEE, an event space called MODELERS SQUARE for workshops and races, parts reordering and domestic shipping services. It’s within a 5–7 minute walk of Shimbashi station exits, making it easy to combine with other Minato sights.

A compact flagship shop focused on Tamiya products and community events.

Look out for:

• Around 6,000 Tamiya items across plastic models, Mini 4WD, R/C and accessories.

• A 1:1 Mini 4WD “Aero Avante” display in the café and rotating model exhibits.

• MODELERS SQUARE event area hosting workshops, races and talks.

• On-site café run with ONIBUS COFFEE (separate café hours).

Best way to experience it:

Browse the retail floor first, then check the event board for any Mini 4WD races or workshops; finish with coffee in the café to view large displays and chat with staff about parts or model techniques.
