PS.SPEICHER
Overview
PS.SPEICHER is an immersive motor-vehicle museum in Einbeck presenting roughly 200 years of mobility history across staged historical scenes. The main site showcases about 400 exhibited vehicles; the wider campus and depots hold up to 2,500 historic vehicles and thousands of models.
The museum occupies the historic Kornhaus (granary) and runs rotating special exhibitions, a museum café and shop, guided tours and occasional public events. Several on-site depots spread the collection across Einbeck for deeper exploration.
What to Expect
Start with a walk through the main exhibition where vehicles and period dioramas are presented chronologically, giving context to each era of mobility.
Look out for:
- Staged historical scenes that pair vehicles with period settings.
- Rotating special exhibitions and larger event days (check dates in advance).
- A Porsche 911 full‑motion racing simulator and interactive displays.
- Multiple depots/campus locations with extended collections of cars and model vehicles.
Best way to experience it:
Allow 2–3 hours to see the main exhibition and a depot; combine the visit with a guided tour if you want deeper technical or historical insight. Wear comfortable shoes—some walking between buildings may be required.
