LCS Offroad
Overview
LCS Offroad runs instructor-led Land Rover driving challenges on Stuckenduff Farm just outside Helensburgh, using Discovery vehicles across natural, rough terrain. Sessions include a safety briefing and on-course tuition.
Options run from short 1-hour challenges up to 2.5-hour sessions and are pitched at individuals, groups, corporate team builds and stag/hen parties. The site is cited as having muddy bogs, rocky hills, streams and steep slopes across an 800-acre estate.
What to Expect
You’ll get a safety briefing, instructor tuition and hands-on driving in purpose-built Land Rovers over varied off-road terrain.
Look out for:
- Muddy bogs and stream crossings that test traction and control.
- Rocky hills and steep slopes requiring low-range gearing and careful line choice.
- Instruction tailored to experience level; instructors demonstrate recovery and safety techniques.
- Group options and team-building exercises for corporate or private events.
Best way to experience it: Book a session length that matches your group and fitness for outdoor conditions, arrive in weatherproof clothing and sensible footwear, and allow extra time for the pre-drive briefing.
