JDR Karting

JDR Karting is an indoor motorsport and activity centre at Madleaze Trading Estate in Gloucester, offering a ~300 m tarmac circuit, separate junior track and additional activities such as laser‑tag and segways. The centre runs party, corporate and group packages and has an on‑site café and spectator viewing areas.

Karts are custom 160cc Honda 4‑stroke machines and the main circuit is inspected annually by the National Karting Association (NKA). The venue recommends advance booking and posts age/height restrictions and full opening times on its website.

Short intro: Expect a compact, fast indoor circuit with dedicated junior sessions and a mix of other activities for families and groups.

Look out for:

• Main circuit ~300 m with three high‑speed banking corners and karts claimed to exceed 40 mph.

• Separate junior track and age‑appropriate sessions for younger children.

• Laser‑tag, segways and activity packages alongside karting.

• Spectator viewing areas and an on‑site café for refreshments.

Best way to experience it: Book a specific karting session or a packaged party slot in advance, arrive early for briefing and safety kit, and check the website or call to confirm age/height rules for juniors and minimums for other activities.

• Advance booking and deposits are recommended for sessions and parties.
