Pilotiamo
Overview
Pilotiamo runs a drifting course on the Misano Adriatico flat‑track, focused on controlled sideways driving on a 1.2 km dirt oval beside the Misano World Circuit. Sessions combine classroom briefing, instructor laps and timed driving rotations.
Courses are offered as half‑day (08:30–12:30) or full‑day (08:30–18:00) formats. Groups are small (8–12 people, max four drivers per car) using prepared cars such as BMW 330i/328i/120d and Subaru WRC STI for hands‑on practice.
What to Expect
Short intro paragraph: You’ll get a safety and technique briefing, see instructor demonstration laps, then rotate through multiple ~10‑minute driving turns on the dirt oval to practise controlled drifting and throttle/steering balance.
Look out for:
- 1.2 km dirt flat‑track with five left and three right turns designed for sustained slides.
- Rotational driving turns of about 10 minutes (roughly 11–12 laps per rotation as listed by the school).
- In‑car instructor coaching and demonstration laps in prepared cars.
- Small groups (8–12 participants) and a maximum of four drivers per car for frequent seat time.
Best way to experience it: Arrive with closed shoes and comfortable clothing, listen closely to the safety briefing, and start conservative — instructors progressively increase speed and slide angle as your control improves.
