Model Car Shop Paburio

Model Car Shop Paburio is a long-standing specialist retailer in Kōchi City focused on diecast and scale model cars. Directory listings and local maps confirm its address and phone number; the shop appears in hobby directories and mapping services.

Expect a compact, specialist storefront rather than a large museum or mall shop. The shop is reachable on foot from several Tosaden tram stops, and stock tends to reflect collector-grade models and Japanese domestic releases.

A focused hobby shop selling diecast, scale models and related accessories. Staff can often point collectors to specific lines or rare items.

Look out for:

• Shelf displays of 1:43, 1:64 and other common scale diecast models.

• Japanese domestic releases and locally popular marques.

• Accessories and replacement parts for model repairs and detailing.

• A compact, browse-friendly interior rather than large showroom space.

Best way to experience it:

Visit by tram or on foot and allow time to browse shelves—call ahead if you need confirmation of stock or to check opening status, since the shop's website appears unavailable in some checks.

• Address and phone are listed in multiple Japanese directories; the shop's claimed website may be offline.

• Nearest Tosaden tram stops are an approximately 10–15 minute walk depending on which stop you use.

• Space is limited—large groups may find browsing tight.

• If hunting a specific rare model, call first to confirm availability.
