Overview

Fondazione Museo Agusta preserves the industrial and sporting history of Costruzioni Aeronautiche Giovanni Agusta and MV Agusta. The collection includes historic helicopters, championship MV Agusta motorcycles, technical drawings and company archives housed in the adjacent Villa Agusta.

Visits are led by knowledgeable guides—often former Agusta employees—who follow a curated route through displays and the archival collection. The foundation is recognised by the Italian Ministry of Culture and Regione Lombardia.

What to Expect

A focused, curator-led visit that combines aircraft, motorcycles and original documentation.

Look out for:

  • Restored Agusta and AgustaWestland helicopters on display.
  • Iconic MV Agusta racing motorcycles, including championship models.
  • Original technical drawings, documents and company archival material at Villa Agusta.
  • Guides with first‑hand experience from the Agusta organisation.

Best way to experience it:

Book a guided visit through the museum’s official channels and allow time to see both the exhibition halls and the adjacent archival rooms; ask guides about specific helicopter models or racing seasons you’re interested in.
