Chiel Bos Norway Rally Experience
Overview
Multi-day driving programs run from Geilo and Dagali, combining ice/low-grip training on a frozen river with hotel briefings and optional snow activities. The operator is based in the Netherlands and has run Norway programs for over 25 years.
Groups are kept small (around 16 participants). Cars are specially prepared (examples listed: BMW 3-series, Nissan Sunny), helmets are provided and spike setup progresses from low-grip to full competition spikes for advanced sessions.
What to Expect
Begin with instructor briefings and progressive on-ice drills, then move to full-speed rally laps on a frozen river near Dagali/Geilo. Sessions use helmeted drivers, specially prepared rally cars and a staged increase in spike length up to competition spikes.
### Typical on-track activities
- Instructor-led exercises: skid control, power slides, left-foot braking, and timed runs.
- Short one-on-one coaching segments with feedback between runs.
- Multiple car rotations: you'll drive different rally-prepared cars during the program.
- Optional extra activities such as snowmobile rides or sightseeing around Geilo.
Things to Note
- Small group size (≈16) — expect shared car rotations.
- Helmet provided; bring warm, non-restrictive clothing and sturdy shoes.
- Program bases in Geilo with driving at Dagali (frozen river/airfield setting).
- International travel to Norway and local transfers may be included in multi-day itineraries; check your itinerary.
