Barkaways

Barkaways is a Kent‑based specialist garage and restoration workshop handling everything from routine servicing to full concours restorations and storage. The team works on modern and classic cars, with notable restorations including Ferraris and historic rally cars.

Onsite services include engine and gearbox rebuilds, suspension and brake work, dry‑ice blasting, tracker installation, parts sales and vehicle sales. The business also offers secure storage and recommissioning for long‑term projects.

On arrival you'll find a working restoration workshop and secure storage facility where technicians handle mechanical rebuilds and bodywork.

What you'll see:

• Active restoration bays with classic Ferraris and rally cars in various stages of rebuild.
• Evidence of specialist services: dry‑ice blasting booths, engine/gearbox rebuild benches and parts inventory.
• Sales and recommissioned cars available for viewing by appointment.
• Secure vehicle storage areas and paperwork for tracked restorations.

Best way to experience it:

• Book an appointment or tour in advance; the site is a working garage and staff need to schedule time to show cars.
• Bring any maintenance history and VIN if enquiring about restorations or recommissioning.
• Expect a technical conversation—staff focus on practical restoration details and provenance.

• By appointment only for viewings and detailed discussions.
• Unit 6, Arnolds Business Park is an industrial site with limited public parking.
• Phone 01622 872100 or email info@barkaways.com to arrange visits or quotes.
• They handle both mechanical and bodywork projects; turnaround depends on scope.
