Awasuno Ski Resort

Awasuno Ski Resort runs guided summer buggy tours on private forest tracks above Toyama, with short courses (15 minutes) up to a full summit option. Vehicles are two‑person, organizers supply basic rain gear and optional Insta360 editing.

Tours run daily in summer with same‑day walk‑ins on weekends and holidays; weekday bookings should be made at least two days ahead. Reception and buggy booking hours are published on the resort site and there is free parking on site.

You’ll ride a two‑person buggy on marked forest trails led/monitored by resort staff and see wooded slopes and valley views. The standard ride is about 15 minutes (~2 km); longer and summit routes are available for more experienced drivers.

What you'll do:

• Board a two‑person buggy; staff give a short safety briefing and basic rain gear.
• Drive a guided ~2 km course (normal) or choose long/summit options for extended routes.
• Capture photos or add the optional Insta360 video editing service for ¥1,000.

Best way to experience it: Wear long sleeves and pants to avoid insect bites, arrive 15–30 minutes early for check‑in, and book weekdays at least 48 hours in advance if you need a specific slot.
