Yuki Kouryu Taiken Center

Hiroshima City Yuki Experience Centre runs EV buggy rentals and short test runs from a base next to Yuki Lodge in Saeki Ward. The service launched in March 2024 and is operated by the local NPO Yuki DMC.

You can choose a 15-minute on-site test run or rent a single-seat EV buggy for 1 hour, half day (≤3 hrs) or a full day (≤7 hrs). Bookings are handled via the centre's reservation widget and a standard driver’s licence is required.

Try a short, supervised run on the event plaza or take a self-drive rental to explore nearby rural roads and lanes.

Look out for:

• 15-minute test run available for on-site practice.

• Operating window for rentals typically 10:00–17:00 and available year-round.

Arrive with a confirmed reservation, spend a few minutes on the test run if you’re unfamiliar with the vehicle, then take a short local loop to enjoy quiet country roads and views around Yuki before returning to the centre.
