Williams Racing Heritage Collection
Overview
Williams Heritage preserves, restores and operates Williams Racing’s historic Formula 1 cars and technical archives. The collection covers the team’s early cars through championship and modern-era machinery, maintained for demonstrations and events.
The Heritage arm operates curated visits, demo runs and specialist events rather than a continuously open public museum. Enquiries and bookings are handled directly by the Heritage team via their contact channels.
What to Expect
A focused, appointment-based visit to a working heritage collection where cars are maintained for demonstrations and events.
Look out for:
- Historic Williams F1 cars spanning early models to recent championship machinery.
- Active restoration and technical archives showing conservation work and parts storage.
- Demonstration runs and track-prepared cars operated for events when scheduled.
- Opportunities to speak with heritage staff about car histories and operations.
Best way to experience it: Contact the Williams Heritage team in advance to arrange a guided visit or to join a scheduled event or demo; expect the visit to be on a working motorsport campus rather than a static public gallery.
Things to Note
- Visits are by appointment; contact heritage@williamsf1.com for enquiries.
- The collection is at Williams Racing HQ in Grove (not a public museum with regular opening hours).
- Access may be on an operational team site—follow any security or ID instructions from staff.
- Events and demo runs are scheduled; availability varies by season and calendar.
