Toveks Bilmuseum
Overview
Toveks Bilmuseum displays Gregor Tovek’s private collection of more than 80 vehicles, from classic Volkswagens to trucks, motorcycles and mopeds. The collection was relocated to a new Falkenberg hall in 2024 and sits alongside the Toveks Bil branch.
Entry to the museum is free; visiting times follow the Falkenberg Toveks Bil branch opening hours. Highlights include one of Sweden’s earliest imported Volkswagens (manufactured 7 Dec 1948) and era-spanning automotive exhibits useful for enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.
What to Expect
A compact, privately curated display focused on preserved and restored road vehicles.
Look out for:
- Sweden’s oldest Volkswagen (Dec 7, 1948) and multiple classic VWs.
- A varied mix of trucks, motorcycles and mopeds alongside passenger cars.
- Informal, owner-curated presentation rather than a large institutional museum.
- New Falkenberg exhibition hall created after the 2024 relocation.
Best way to experience it:
Visit during Toveks Bil branch hours, allow 30–60 minutes for a thorough walk-through, and pair the stop with nearby Falkenberg attractions or a dealership visit if you’re researching classic vehicles.
Things to Note
- Entry is free; check Toveks Bil Falkenberg opening hours before you go.
- The museum is part of the Toveks Bil site—look for signage at Motellvägen.
- Displays reflect a private collection, so exhibits and access can change.
- Contact the Falkenberg branch phone for visitor queries rather than assuming fixed hours.
