Thruxton Circuit
Overview
Thruxton Circuit is a high-speed racing venue in Hampshire known for its fast sweeping corners and use by national championships. The site includes conference suites, hospitality, paddock access and in-house catering for events and corporate days.
The circuit hosts BTCC, British GT and British Superbikes rounds as well as club and historic meetings. It also runs motorsport experiences, a kart centre and a skid pan alongside the main race circuit.
What to Expect
A working race circuit with spectator facilities, paddock viewing on selected days and a programme of national and club meetings.
Look out for:
- Very fast, flowing corners that make for close wheel-to-wheel racing.
- Major race weekends (BTCC, British Superbikes) when paddock access and hospitality are busiest.
- On-site facilities including the Thruxton Centre for food and indoor viewing areas.
- Karting and driving experience sessions separate from race days.
Best way to experience it:
Visit on an event day for full racing atmosphere, book paddock or hospitality access in advance if you want close-up viewing, and check the circuit calendar for specific series and support races.
Things to Note
- Events can be noisy and busy; bring ear protection for paddock or trackside.
- Parking and paddock access vary by event—follow organiser instructions and signage.
- The circuit operates a limited number of motorsport days each year; check the schedule before planning travel.
- Contact the venue for details on driving experiences, karting and corporate bookings.
