Technic-Hobby

Technic‑Hobby is a specialist modelling and radio‑control store on Rue Centrale in central Lausanne, stocking RC cars, planes, boats, drones, model kits and spare parts. The shop also runs an online store with delivery across Switzerland and publishes product videos and tutorials.

A local fixture since the 1980s, Technic‑Hobby combines hands‑on advice and repairs with a broad parts inventory — useful for hobbyists and visitors seeking niche components or local model‑making supplies.

A compact, specialist retail space with shelves of kits, batteries, chargers and spare parts, plus staff who can advise on RC setup and repairs.

Look out for:

• Radio‑controlled cars, planes and boats across multiple scales.

• A wide selection of plastic, wood and metal model kits and finishing supplies.

• Batteries, chargers and hard‑to‑find spare parts for older models.

• Tutorial videos and product demos shared via the shop’s YouTube and social channels.
