Škoda Museum
Overview
Permanent and rotating displays showcase Škoda vehicles from early Karosa and Laurin & Klement models to modern production cars. Exhibits combine restored classics, archival material and interpretive panels to tell the brand’s technical and social history.
The museum is part of Škoda Auto’s visitor programme and sits close to the company’s production site in Mladá Boleslav. Visitors can choose unguided visits or book guided museum tours, and combine visits with a reserved plant tour where available.
What to Expect
Begin with a concise chronological exhibition that traces Škoda’s development, then explore themed galleries and special temporary exhibitions.
Look out for:
- Restored pre-war and post-war Škoda production cars and prototypes.
- Archival photos, engineering displays and period advertising material.
- Temporary exhibits that rotate seasonally or for anniversaries.
- Combined guided tours that can include the adjacent Škoda plant (advance reservation required for plant access).
Best way to experience it:
Allow 1.5–2 hours for an unguided visit; join a guided tour for deeper context, and book plant tours or combined options in advance if you want to see production facilities.
Things to Note
- Buy tickets online or at the on-site ticket desk; e‑tickets are accepted.
