Setchfields Models

A long-established independent model and hobby shop in the heart of Poole town centre, Setchfields Models supplies plastic kits, model-railway items, paints, tools and accessories for hobbyists.

Staffed by knowledgeable local owners, the shop provides specialist stock and contact details on its website; check the contact page or call before visiting for the latest opening information.

A compact specialist store with shelves of model kits, model-railway items, paints, glues and basic tools. Expect friendly, hobby-focused service rather than a large department-store range.

Look out for:

• A wide selection of plastic kits and railway modelling supplies.

• Paints, adhesives and small tools for finishing and repairs.

• Local, long-running independent business knowledge and recommendations.

• Counter service rather than self-service for some specialist items.

Best way to experience it:

Visit during weekday or Saturday opening hours listed on the shop website, bring reference photos or part numbers for specific kit queries, and call ahead to confirm stock or opening times if you need something particular.

• Check the shop contact page or ring 01202 673 300 to confirm opening hours before travelling.

• The store is on Poole High Street near the Quay; parking may be limited nearby.

• Email enquiries can be sent to setchfieldsmodels@aol.com for stock questions.

• Expect a specialist, compact retail layout—larger or rare items may require ordering.
