Rent VW Käfer/Bulli

Rent VW Käfer offers classic VW Beetles (including a red cabriolet) and a VW T2 Westfalia camper for day rentals, events and vintage camping. Vehicles are available for self-drive or with a chauffeur and can be booked for weddings, birthdays and tours around Basel-Landschaft.

The operation is run by hug coaching & events from Lupsingen and lists day rentals starting from CHF 225. Options include camping equipment for the Bulli, roof-tent on some Beetles, and event packages such as wedding hires and vouchers.

Choose from a white VW Käfer, a red Käfer cabriolet or a Westfalia T2 Bulli fitted for camping. Vehicles are presented for events and leisure drives with basic equipment provided.

Look out for:

• Classic Beetle models in good cosmetic condition and a converted VW T2 Westfalia camper.

• Options for self-drive or chauffeur service for ceremonies and events.

• Camping equipment and roof-tent availability on select vehicles.

• Event extras like vouchers and occasional entertainment packages.

Best way to experience it:
Book in advance, specify whether you need chauffeur service or camping kit, and plan a scenic loop from Lupsingen through Basel-Landschaft for a relaxed vintage-drive photo opportunity.

• Day rental rates are advertised from CHF 225; confirm final price and insurance terms when booking.

• Vehicles are classic models—expect vintage handling and limited modern amenities.

• Book early for wedding dates and summer weekends; availability can be limited.

• Pickup/drop-off at Leimenweg 12 in Lupsingen; confirm exact handover details with the operator.
