Pite Dragway Track Camping

Pite Dragway (Långnäs airfield, Piteå) operates public campgrounds for major events such as Midnight Race Week and Northern Race Festival. The organiser is SHRA Luleå and detailed prices, opening times and event-specific rules are published on their official site.

Camping is offered with or without electricity for weekends or full weeks; admission is charged separately and child policies apply at some events. Directions from the E4 are signposted and Google Maps recognises “pitedragway.”

Short arrival note: camp areas open on event-specific dates and times published on the official “Priser” page. Bring your booking details or be prepared to pay on arrival.

Look out for:

• Official campsite with pitches offered both with and without electricity (weekend and week rates listed on the SHRA Luleå site).

• Separate per-person admission fees for events; children under 15 are often admitted free with a guardian at listed events.

• Payment on-site: cash is recommended as the most reliable method; Swish and cards may work but can be unreliable when mobile networks are busy.

• Signage from the E4 and a Google Maps listing for “pitedragway” make the venue straightforward to find.

Best way to experience it:

Arrive during the posted camp opening time for your event, set up in an electricity pitch if you need power, and allow extra time for on-site payment. Check the event’s current page on shralulea.se for exact camping dates, prices and any entry rules before travel.

• Camping availability, prices and opening times vary by event—check the event’s page on shralulea.se.

• Bring cash as a backup; card/Swish can be unreliable during busy events.

• Children under 15 are typically free with a guardian at listed events—verify for the specific event.

• Official contact: pitedragway@hotmail.se for questions and confirmations.
