Oldtimers Experience

OldtimersExperience combines a renovated 1922 farmhouse apartment with an attached private classic‑car museum at Oosteinde 25 in Wapserveen. Guests can view the collection and, when staying, garage their own cars on site.

The operator offers multi‑day driving packages that let you choose several classic or sports cars for scenic drives through Drenthe. The property includes modern apartment comforts and vehicle facilities promoted on the official site.

A countryside stay focused on classic cars and driving.

Look out for:

• A private museum with roughly 70 classic cars; guest viewing is included when you stay.

• Multi‑day driving packages that let you select 2–4 cars across a weekend. Models shown include VW Beetle cabrio, Citroën DS21, BMW E30/M3, Chevrolet Corvette and Maserati examples.

• A modernised apartment (former milkhouse) with floor heating, infrared sauna, rain shower and wheelchair‑friendly entrance.

• On‑site parking, garage space for guests’ classics and electric‑vehicle charging noted by the operator.

Best way to experience it:

Book a weekend package and plan scenic drives from Wapserveen into Drenthe (quiet backroads, nearby Giethoorn, Orvelte and hunebedden/UNESCO Colonies of Benevolence are within driving distance). Bring driving clothes and any documentation your insurer or the operator requires for driving historic cars.

• Guest viewing of the car collection is included when you stay.

• Operator lists sample weekend packages (examples and prices on the official site).

• Property lists a wheelchair‑friendly entrance for the apartment; confirm mobility details before booking.
