NSR

NSR (Nagaokakyo Slotcar Raceway) is a dedicated slot-car club and track in Nagaokakyo, Kyoto Prefecture. The venue runs several track classes from Beginner to Expert and hosts community programs to bring in new participants.

Open afternoons and evenings, NSR offers drop-in day access for adults and older teens, equipment for different car categories, and organized events. Elementary-school children and younger are not permitted for safety reasons.

At NSR you’ll handle real slot cars, choose from category-specific lanes, and time laps for practice or competition.

What you'll do

• Sign in and pay day admission, then pick a car class (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert).
• Use club controllers and on-site lanes to practice lap times and race head-to-head.
• Join regular races and community events coordinated by the club.
• Staff can explain class rules; the Rebecca Project supplies equipment for eligible new racers (ages 16–30).

• Open 15:00–22:00; closed Thursdays.
• Day admission is ¥2,000 per person.
• Elementary-school children and younger are not allowed inside.
