Motorsport Arena Oschersleben Kart Track
Overview
The kart track at Motorsport Arena Oschersleben is a 1,018 metre outdoor kart circuit built on the grounds of the main race track in Saxony-Anhalt, with its own pit boxes. The German Kart Championship has raced here, and the operator says Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg went head to head on it in a Kart European Championship round.
Rental karts and private karts share the same track. The arena runs ten identical petrol karts for individual and group sessions through the season, and kart owners pay a day rate to run their own machines. Almost every Tuesday the circuit also opens to supermoto and pit bike riders, who take turns with the karts in half hour blocks.
The kart track is one corner of a much bigger complex: a 3.696 km race circuit with car and bike track days, race taxi rides, driving experiences, guided tours, a sim racing room and an escape room, plus the Arena Diner beside the paddock and a four star hotel on site.
What to Expect
- Ten identical rental karts: 9 PS, 270 cc Honda four stroke engines, a disc brake on the rear axle and a top speed of about 65 km/h.
- A single session is 30 minutes on the full 1,018 metre layout, with up to ten karts out at once.
- The track is wide for a kart circuit, 6 to 8 metres, with gravel run offs and kerbs built to the same standard as the main circuit.
- Group packages run from 30 minutes of free driving to a full afternoon of practice, qualifying and a race. Every package has lap timing and a results printout; the bigger ones add best lap certificates, medals or trophies. Groups over ten run the race with driver changes.
- Private kart owners use the same track and pit boxes, so race prepared karts are often out alongside the rental fleet.
- On supermoto Tuesdays, bikes and karts alternate in 30 minute blocks.
- Groups can add a grill or buffet, a guided tour of the circuit, a skid car session, a drive wearing drunk simulation goggles or safety driver training to a karting booking.
- The Arena Diner, an American style place with homemade burgers and salads, sits next to the paddock.
Things to Note
- Rental karting runs in season, April to October, on days the track is open, 10:00 to 18:00. The track closes for events, and October dates are on request. Outside those hours the track is open to groups by arrangement only.

- Booking: sessions are reserved by phone on +49 3949 9200 or through the online calendar on the Buchung page. The operator asks for availability to be checked a week before the date and for a contact number, so they can call if the track has to close.

- Gear and clothing: helmets are supplied and mandatory. Long clothing and firm, closed shoes are required.
- Add ons: balaclava hire €3 with a helmet. Extra drivers on group packages: €40 per person on Warm Up and Free Practice, €50 on Race Feeling, €60 on Total Racing.

- Own karts: €80 per kart per day, or €40 per kart from 14:00. Running outside the season is possible by arrangement.
- Supermoto and pit bike days: almost every Tuesday, 10:00 to 18:00, €80 per day, road course only, no supersport bikes, full face, enduro or supermoto helmets only, mirrors and other breakable parts removed or taped, liability waiver signed. Dates change at short notice and the arena confirms them on +49 3949 920 503.
- The track is fully outdoor and can close on the day.
- House rules for the whole arena: no alcohol brought in, no drones, dogs on a lead and muzzled, 30 km/h on site roads and walking pace in the paddock, no grilling or open fires.
- Parking: day car parks beside the arena, 7:00 to 20:00, €5. Staying in a car park overnight is charged at €50 and anyone staying over is sent to the campsite.
- Getting there: from the A2 take exit 65 Eilsleben and follow the B246a then B246 to Oschersleben; from the A14 leave at Wanzleben. The nearest station is the regional station in Oschersleben, with connections through Magdeburg.
- Office: Monday to Friday, plus weekends in season, 8:00 to 18:00; from November until 17:00. The hotel reception takes urgent questions around the clock.
- The Arena Diner publishes no hours; it closes over winter and reopens in the paddock when the season starts. Hotel Motorsport Arena Oschersleben has its own AE listing.
