Motodrom Karting Umkirch is an indoor karting circuit operated by Blackforest Freizeitbetriebe near Freiburg. The venue runs a compact technical track and a fleet of Sodi karts for juniors and adults.

The facility hosts public sessions, private hire, birthday parties and corporate events; the official site lists current fleet details, contact info and opening hours, with Monday–Tuesday available by request.

A compact, technical indoor circuit suited to short sprint races and practice laps.

Look out for:

• A track length of roughly 290–315 m, good for close racing.

• Sodi kart models (SR5 and GT5R) in adult and junior configurations with adjustable seats and safety equipment.

• Minimum age rules and tiered kart access (child karts from ~8 years; adult karts with staff introduction from mid-teens; race karts for qualified adults).

• Group and event options including private hire and birthday packages.

Best way to experience it: arrive early for briefings, wear closed shoes, book peak slots or group events in advance via the official site, and expect short, intense sessions rather than long endurance stints.

• Check the official site or call for current opening hours and to reserve group slots.

• Minimum driver ages and kart classes are enforced; bring ID for age verification if required.

• Closed shoes are required; helmets and safety gear are provided by the venue.

• Monday–Tuesday sessions may be by prior arrangement only—confirm availability before traveling.
