Located on Calle del Barquillo near central attractions, Macchinine is noted in Madrid tourism listings and local press for its long history and specialist knowledge—good for collectors or anyone after a unique automotive gift.

A compact, shelves‑filled shop with a wide range of scale models, slot cars and accessories. Staff are experienced with collector requests and model repairs.

Look out for:

• Die‑cast models from varied eras and scales.

• Scalextric and slot car sets and spare parts.

• Repair and customisation services for collectors.

• Assistance sourcing obscure or special‑order models.

Best way to experience it:

Pop in to browse rather than expecting a showroom; ask staff about restorations or special orders if you have a specific model in mind. The shop’s compact layout rewards slow browsing and questions to staff for hard‑to‑find items.

• Small shop with limited space—expect narrow aisles.

• Hours vary by source; check the website or call before visiting.

• Staff handle repairs and special orders—bring photos or model details.

• Payment methods vary; confirm card acceptance if needed.
