Funtracks is a German driftschool offering structured drift courses and driving trainings at dedicated venues in Thuringia and nearby racetracks. Sessions focus on learning car control, safe oversteer techniques and progression from basic to advanced drills.

Events run at locations such as the ADAC Fahrsicherheitszentrum Thüringen, Schleizer Dreieck and Lausitzring; training formats include wet-surface practice, slide tuition and track follow-ups under instructor supervision.

Training is instructor-led with a focus on safety, car control and progressive skill building.

Look out for:

• Small-group sessions with in-car or instructor-led coaching.

• Wet- or low-traction practice areas for safe sliding drills.

• Track days or advanced follow-up sessions at Schleizer Dreieck and Lausitzring.

• Emphasis on vehicle control, not speed — drills repeat until techniques are consolidated.

Best way to experience it:

Book a beginner course if new to drifting, bring a valid driving licence and comfortable clothes; arrive early for a safety briefing and follow instructor guidance to get the most from on-car feedback and repeated practice runs.

• Bookings and specific venues vary by event—check the schedule before you travel.

• Bring a valid driving licence and closed shoes; personal helmets may be recommended.

• Sessions run weather- and surface-dependent; dates can change.
