Overview

The FBW Museum, run by the FBW‑Club, preserves trucks, buses and commercial-vehicle technology from Franz Brozincevic & Cie dating back to 1917. The collection includes complete vehicles, engines, gearboxes, models and archival plans.

The museum opened in 1998 and is housed near the former FBW workshops on the Industrielehrpfad Zürcher Oberland. Regular public openings and group visits are organised by the club; check the official site for current dates.

What to Expect

A focused display of Swiss-made commercial vehicles and mechanical artefacts, aimed at enthusiasts and curious visitors.

Look out for:

  • Engines, gearboxes and a driveline cross-section teaching model.
  • Archival photos, plans and small-scale models detailing FBW engineering.
  • Event and rental spaces including the adjoining Sechskantstübli.

Best way to experience it:
