European Speed Club

European Speed Club (operating under Danny Pfeil Test, Training & Event GmbH) runs driving events including track days, grand touring road trips, winter 'On Ice' experiences and vehicle rental. The company is headquartered in Bad Homburg, Germany and has organized driving experiences across Europe for around 25 years.

ESC lists Katschberg as one of its On Ice event locations; offerings combine instructor-led driving exercises on frozen surfaces, vehicle rental options (Rent-a-Porsche/CarForGo) and packaged event days aimed at enthusiasts and corporate groups.

Short intro paragraph: Expect instructor-led ice driving sessions using performance cars, safety briefings, and controlled on-ice exercises designed to teach car control in winter conditions.

Look out for:

• Professional instructors and on-site coaching designed for different skill levels.

• Purpose-prepared courses on frozen surfaces at Katschberg with staged exercises (slalom, braking, controlled slides).

• Availability of rented performance cars alongside participant vehicles.

• Event formats ranging from single-day sessions to multi-day On Ice programs.

Best way to experience it:

Arrive prepared with winter clothing; follow pre-event communications from ESC about meeting points and required documents. Book in advance through the official site for specific dates and vehicle options, and expect structured group rotations between instruction and practice runs.

• Events run at Katschberg and other winter locations—confirm exact venue and date with ESC.

• Bring a valid driving licence and any ID requested; rental bookings may require additional documentation.

• Weather and ice conditions affect program structure and may lead to schedule changes.

• ESC contact details and company info are on their site (Frankfurter Landstraße 1, Bad Homburg; info@e-s-c.de).
