Deep Racing
Overview
Deep Racing runs driver training, race-team activities and driver-audition events from a garage base directly in front of Tsukuba Circuit's main gate. The operation is led by founder Seki Masayuki and has offered programs since the 1990s.
Programs include practical on-track coaching, timed sessions and trial/audition events for aspiring racers; the site also handles team support and event notices are posted on the official site through 2025.
What to Expect
Hands-on driver training at a garage adjacent to Tsukuba Circuit. Expect instructor-led sessions focused on racing technique, car setup feedback and timed laps rather than sightseeing.
On-track sessions:
- Instructor coaching on racing lines, braking and throttle control
- Timed laps and data-driven feedback during practice runs
- Driver-audition events with specific entry and evaluation criteria
- Team-support activities such as car prep and event logistics
Best way to experience it:
Book in advance for a specific training day or audition; arrive with a prepared car or confirm availability of school cars, bring appropriate driving gear and allow extra time for vehicle scrutineering and briefings.
