De Kegel X-Treme

De Kegel X-Treme is an indoor leisure centre in Westende/Middelkerke offering bowling, indoor karting, laser shooting, minigolf and VR/escape attractions. It’s marketed as a family- and group-friendly venue, useful for bad-weather days on the Belgian coast.

The venue publishes online booking and recommends reserving in advance; opening times vary by day and school holidays, so check availability before you go.

At De Kegel X-Treme you can book standard ten-pin bowling lanes, try the Formule E-Karting track indoors, and use laser-shooting and VR/escape attractions for short sessions. Activities are point-of-sale booked or reserved online and staff run safety briefings for karting and laser games.

Best way to experience it:

• Reserve lanes or karting sessions online; arrive 10–15 minutes early for check-in and safety briefing.
• Bowling: standard lanes suitable for families and groups; shoe hire is available on site.
• Karting: indoor electric karts with an age/height limit—expect a safety briefing and helmet requirement.
• Short attraction sessions (laser, VR, minigolf): book time slots; these are good as add-ons between longer activities.

Plan to combine one main activity (bowling or karting) with one or two short sessions for a 2–3 hour visit.

• Online reservation is recommended; capacity can fill, especially weekends and holidays.
• Opening days/times change outside school holidays; verify before travel.
• Karting and some attractions have age/height restrictions and require helmets; bring ID for age verification.
• Contact by phone (059 44 79 81) or email (bowlingdekegel@telenet.be) for group bookings or questions.
