Collezione Roadmaster Garage
Overview
Collezione Roadmaster Garage is a locally run museum-style collection housed in a covered 1,700 m² space in Velina, Castelnuovo Cilento. The display focuses on more than 50 cars from the 1950s–1960s, with a notable emphasis on large American sedans.
The site also includes an active restoration workshop, vintage objects and meeting spaces for enthusiasts and community events. Visits are organised by the Roadmaster association, which is affiliated with ASI/AutoRevival Club.
What to Expect
You will mainly walk through a covered exhibition of restored and unrestored classic cars and see a working restoration area where technicians and volunteers maintain vehicles.
Highlights:
- Over 50 cars from the 1950s–1960s, many large American sedans
- Covered 1,700 m² exhibition area with period memorabilia
- On-site restoration workshop where some projects are visible
- Occasional local events and displays for families and enthusiasts
Best way to experience it: plan for a short, focused visit and contact the association ahead—ASI/museum listings publish phone contacts for the owner. Expect a hands-on, club-run atmosphere rather than a formal museum with set opening hours.
Things to Note
- Visits are often by appointment; opening times are not consistently published.
- The supplied PGK Perugia website is not this venue; use local listings/ASI contacts for details.
- The venue is rural—allow time for travel and expect limited public transport.
- On-site parking is likely available but basic; bring cash or phone for contact.
