CAT Driver Training

CAT Driver Training runs advanced driving, track and race academies from a dedicated hub at UTAC Millbrook Proving Ground near Bedford. Courses cover skid recovery, high‑speed control, performance driving and industry programmes for safety and ADAS evaluation.

Sessions use Millbrook’s private circuits and instruction from accredited instructors, including programmes tailored for drivers, fleet operators and automotive professionals. The company is an approved Ford Motor Company training provider and has strong customer review ratings.

You’ll spend time in classroom briefings and significant on-track or off-road driving exercises focused on vehicle control and performance.

Typical session includes:

• Instructor briefing on techniques and safety before stepping on track.
• Hands-on drills: braking, cornering, skid recovery and limit handling in controlled conditions.
• Use of Millbrook proving ground layouts (Alpine Loop 3) with staged exercises to build skills.
• Debrief with video or instructor feedback and practical tips to apply on road or track.
