Castelletto Circuit Driving Experiences
Overview
Castelletto Circuit runs its own driving menu on its 1.9 km FMI and ACI Sport homologated track at Castelletto di Branduzzo, south of Pavia in Lombardy. The headline is self drive supercar laps: you take the driver's seat of a Ferrari 488 GTB, Ferrari 458, Lamborghini Huracan Evo, Dallara Stradale or Toyota GR Yaris and buy exactly the number of laps you want. The circuit also runs Legend Cars, 5/8 scale replicas of 1930s and 1940s American cars on 900cc Yamaha engines, with a theory lesson before you drive.
The rest of the menu is for people who bring their own machine or none at all: open track days for cars and road bikes, Yamaha R7 and MT-07 rental bikes, motorcycle courses from a first ever ride through to supermoto technique, and a full day drift course in a BMW M3 taught by drivers who have competed in the Italian drift championship.
It suits a first timer who wants a single Ferrari lap as much as a regular who wants ten, and riders and drivers with their own machine who want a full day on a homologated circuit.
What to Expect
- The cars you drive yourself: Ferrari 488 GTB, Ferrari 458, Lamborghini Huracan Evo, Dallara Stradale and Toyota GR Yaris. Each is sold by the lap, so a first timer can do a single lap and a regular can string ten together in the same car.
- Legend Cars: a fleet of eight identical 5/8 scale replicas of 1930s and 1940s American cars, each on a 900cc Yamaha MT-09 engine, which the circuit rates at over 200 km/h. They come in a Stock 100 CV version and a Race 130 CV version, a theory lesson comes first, and the circuit publishes a briefing video on how the car works.
- The lap itself is the full 1,900 m circuit, run anticlockwise through 16 corners with a 350 m main straight.
- Drift course: a full day in a BMW M3 on the watered skid pad, one instructor to a maximum of four students. The day opens with a welcome coffee at 8:30am and a theory briefing at 9am, practice runs from 9:30am, lunch is at the circuit buffet around 12:30pm, the afternoon alternates driving with short briefings, and it closes between 5:30pm and 6pm with a certificate and, when time allows, a passenger demonstration lap beside the instructor on the circuit.
- Motorcycle courses run 8:30am to 5pm: registration, a theory briefing, then 20 minute track sessions with the instructor correcting between runs, lunch, more sessions and a debrief. Group road riding courses have up to four riders per instructor, supermoto courses up to two, and a Yamaha R7 can be hired for the day. Courses include track entry, lunch, corrective video, a photo service on group days and a certificate.
- Own machine days: the online calendar marks each day as open track, bike shifts, cars only or reserved for private hire, with bikes running in 20 minute sessions and the day split into morning and afternoon halves.
- Food on site is a cold food counter and refreshment area.
Things to Note
- Everything runs by appointment. Book through info@motodromo.it or +39 0383 855082; the office is open every day 9am to 12:30pm and 2:30pm to 6:30pm. Vouchers are emailed within 24 hours of purchase, paid by PayPal, card or bank transfer, and are valid for one year from the issue date. Changing a booked date costs €30 and must be done at least 48 hours before.
- Supercar lap prices: Ferrari 488 GTB €60 for 1 lap, €120 for 2, €180 for 3, €280 for 5, €350 for 7 and €450 for 10. Lamborghini Huracan Evo is the same ladder without a 5 lap option, and its dates are confirmed with the circuit before booking. Ferrari 458 is €50 for 1 lap, €100 for 2, €150 for 3, €225 for 5, €300 for 7 and €400 for 10. Toyota GR Yaris is €100 for 3 laps, €150 for 5 and €250 for 10. The Dallara Stradale is sold as a single 10 lap package at €500, and the circuit asks for your shoe size, height and weight when you book it because of the car's fit.
- Legend Cars prices: Stock 100 CV €100 for 10 laps or €200 for 20; Race 130 CV €150 for 10 laps or €280 for 20. The circuit describes the cars as suited to drivers from 12 years of age to over 70 years of age.
- Add ons: a Camera Car video of your drive is €30 on the car experiences. Technical motorcycle clothing can be hired on request. Helmets are not supplied on the bike courses, so riders bring their own.
- Own car track entry: €70 for two sessions, €100 for a half day of three sessions, €150 for a full day of six. A second driver sharing the car pays €20. A helmet and fastened seatbelts are mandatory in the car.
- Own bike track entry on the 2026 rate sheet: road bikes €55 for a half day and €90 for a full day on weekdays, €65 and €110 on Sundays and public holidays. Motard, scooters, MiniGP and pit bikes are €45 for a half day and €60 for a full day on any day. A rigid level 2 back protector is mandatory, exhausts must stay under 96 dB, and the track rules call for helmet, leather suit, gloves and boots with no top boxes or racks on the bike.
- The rate sheet lists a €30 evening car session, 5:30pm to 7pm on Wednesdays from April to September. Management can change session times without notice.
- Rental bikes: Yamaha R7 or Yamaha MT-07 for a half day of three sessions of about 20 minutes or a full day of six, from €300. Riders need an A2 licence or higher, or an FMI licence. The bikes carry no insurance: a rider who crashes pays for the broken parts.
- Course prices: the drift course is €500 for the full day. The first ride course (Primi Giri, 3 hours) is €190, from 10 years of age. The group road riding course is €240 per rider in a group of four, €330 in a group of two or €490 one to one, with a rental bike adding €200 to each. Supermoto courses are €220 in a group of two or €350 individual, €420 and €550 with a rental bike. Bike courses run on weekdays only. A bike course cancelled for bad weather is rescheduled at no cost; car courses run once the minimum number of students is reached, whatever the weather.
- The waiver every driver signs states that track driving is dangerous, that all damage from a fall or crash is at the driver's expense, and lists a charge of at least €200 per day from the day after the damage until repairs are complete. Riders and drivers declare they hold their own accident insurance. Anyone under 18 years of age needs the waiver signed by both parents, with no delegation accepted. Extraordinary track cleaning, emergency call outs and damage to the circuit are charged to the user.
- A call ahead on +39 0383 855082 confirms the day's programme.
