Car Events
Overview
Car Events runs practical driver training and bespoke automotive events across Sweden — from the R Challenge test track at Arlandastad to winter Ice Experiences in Åre/Kall. Programs mix in‑car exercises, instructor coaching and theory tailored to skill level.
Sessions are offered year‑round at dedicated test facilities or as mobile events around Sweden and Norway. Corporate bookings and single‑driver spots are available; contact organisers for dates and group rates.
What to Expect
You’ll spend time behind the wheel practicing controlled slides, emergency braking, slalom and higher‑speed handling under instructor supervision. Vehicles are prepared for the specific surface (tarmac, ice or off‑road) and safety briefings start every session.
Typical programme
- Short safety and theory briefing followed by instructor demonstration.
- Progressive driving exercises: low‑speed control, emergency braking, and high‑speed maneuvering.
- Individual coaching with on‑board feedback and multiple runs on the circuit or ice track.
- Debrief with tips for applying skills on public roads and a certificate for many courses.
Best way to experience it
Book the R Challenge at Arlandastad for a controlled test‑track introduction, or choose the Ice Experience in Åre/Kall if you want coached winter driving on snow and ice. Wear flat shoes and clothes suitable for getting in/out of cars; arrive 15–30 minutes early for check‑in.
Things to Note
- Programs run at Arlandastad (R Challenge) and seasonal ice sites in Åre/Kall; locations depend on the chosen course.
- Bring a valid driving licence; organisers run safety briefings and require signed waivers.
- Expect wet, cold or muddy conditions for ice/off‑road sessions; dress in layers and flat shoes.
- Corporate or private group bookings available; some offerings (ice experience) are seasonal and require advance booking.
