Borlänge Hyrkart

Borlänge Hyrkart operates Amsbergsbanan, an 822 m outdoor kart track near Norr Amsberg with public sessions, group packages and corporate events. The fleet includes adult and junior Caroli karts plus a two‑seater for tandems.

The venue publishes live timing on site, accepts online bookings and supports friskvård/Epassi payments. The track is used for family sessions, team Le Mans races and junior karting from age 6.

You’ll sign in at the clubhouse and get a short safety briefing, helmet and gloves before heading to parc fermé.

On the track:

• 822 m clockwise asphalt circuit with 10 turns and an 8 m typical width.
• Fleet of ~20 karts (Caroli Hammerhead ~9 HP, Caroli Stinger ~14.3 HP, junior Minihammer, one two‑seater).
• Live lap timing visible on site (Megatiming) and lap record listed at 48.456 s.
• Sessions: 8‑minute drop‑in heats, GP and Le Mans team formats (Le Mans events up to 90 minutes).

Best way to experience it: arrive 20–30 minutes early for briefing and setup, book team races in advance for evenings/weekends, juniors require minimum 130 cm height for the Minihammer.
