BMW M Driving Experience AREA M Munich

AREA M — BMW M Driving Experience at Maisach is BMW's dedicated driving campus on a former airfield about 30 km west of Munich. It runs performance, safety and track programmes using BMW M cars and instructor-led sessions.

Programs include on-site safety academy modules, track experiences linked to Hockenheimring events, and special formats (drift, winter, bespoke events). Bookings and full programme details are published on the AREA M / BMW M website.

You’ll drive new BMW M models on closed circuits and handling courses under instructor supervision. Sessions focus on car control, braking, high-speed cornering and in-car coaching.

What you'll do:

• Short briefing and safety overview before driving
• Multiple on-track runs in BMW M cars with instructor feedback
• Hands-on exercises: slalom, emergency braking, threshold and trail braking
• Optional advanced modules (track taxi, drift or specialist formats) depending on the chosen programme

Best way to experience it:
Book a named programme in advance via the AREA M booking portal, arrive with your driving licence, wear comfortable closed shoes, and allow a half-day to full-day depending on the course selected.
