Beachbus

A fixed, privately sited converted schoolbus on Camping de Lakens, set in a dune hollow within the Kennemerduinen near Bloemendaal aan Zee. The unit sleeps up to four and includes a toilet, compact kitchen, smart TV and outdoor seating.

Beds are made and basic linens and towels are provided; there is no private shower (campground sanitary building available). The location is car-free and a very short walk over one dune to the beach.

The Beachbus is a compact, fully furnished overnight unit offering a distinctive beachside stay in the dunes.

Look out for:

• Converted US schoolbus layout with a double bunkbed for up to 4 people.

• Small kitchen (Nespresso, fridge, 2‑ring hob, combi microwave) and included kitchen linen.

• On-unit toilet but no private shower; campground sanitary building for showers.

• Outdoor furniture, hammock, awning and a short walk over one dune to the beach.

Best way to experience it:

Arrive on the listed check-in day, settle into the dune-sheltered spot, use the campsite facilities for showers, and plan short beach walks and sunset time on the sand—pack light and bring layers for cool coastal evenings.

• Sleeps max. 2 adults + 2 children (double bunk configuration).

• No pets allowed in the Beachbus.

• Unit has a toilet but no private shower—use campsite sanitary facilities.
