2027 Lone Star Throwdown

A large custom truck show held at the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center featuring show entries, awards, vendors, and registration for exhibitors. The official event site lists Feb 26–28, 2027 as the event dates.

Expect indoor expo halls and outdoor display areas at the Montgomery County fairgrounds-style complex about 45 miles north of downtown Houston, with registration and vendor information available on the official site.

Experience the show floor full of custom trucks, vendor booths, and awards ceremonies in a spacious expo center designed for large automotive events.

What makes it worth the trip:

• The concentration of custom truck builds and awards under one roof plus outdoor display space.
• Large vendor marketplace for parts, accessories, and specialty services specific to truck customization.
• Easy access to the Lone Star Convention & Expo Center and clear registration resources on the official site.

Best way to experience it:

Arrive early on the weekend day you plan to attend to see staged entries and grab preferred viewing spots; use the event registration portal for exhibitor passes and check the venue attendee page for parking/directions. Expect a mix of indoor and outdoor displays, so dress for the forecast and bring comfortable shoes.

Good to know:

• Official registration, exhibitor rules, and event updates are posted at the event website and registration portal.
• The venue is about a 45-minute drive north of Houston; plan parking and travel time accordingly.

• Great if you want to see a concentrated showcase of custom trucks and award-winning builds.
• Great if you enjoy shopping vendor stalls for aftermarket parts and specialty services.
• Great if you like hands-on, walkable expo formats with both indoor and outdoor displays.
• Maybe skip if you prefer sanctioned racing events or track-based motorsport instead of a show/expo.
