About This Event
The 2026 Monster Energy AMA Supercross season opens at Angel Stadium of Anaheim on one Saturday, 10 January. FanFest and qualifying run from 9:00am, the heats start at 4:04pm and the 450 main event goes at 6:29pm, with everything done by 7:00pm. A capacity crowd in 2026: Eli Tomac won the 450 main and Max Anstie the 250 West.
What to Expect
- One Saturday, 10 January, all times Pacific: FanFest and doors at 9:00am, qualifying from 9:30am to 1:57pm, opening ceremonies at 3:30pm, racing from 4:04pm, the 450 main at 6:29pm and victory circle done by 7:00pm.
- Two classes race, 450SX and 250SX West. Each runs two heats (20 riders, top nine to the main), a last chance qualifier (22 riders, top four through) and a main event: 15 minutes plus a lap for the 250s, 20 minutes plus a lap for the 450s.
- KTM Junior Racing puts kids on the same track: practice at 11:12am and 1:47pm and a three lap main at 5:00pm, 15 riders.
- FanFest runs 9:00am to 3:00pm with the teams and riders, then closes before the night show.
- 2026 sold out. Eli Tomac led every lap of the 450 main to beat Ken Roczen by 1.4 seconds; Max Anstie won the 250 main by 7.5 seconds.
Best Way to Experience It
- One ticket covers the whole day, 9:00am FanFest through to the 450 main, so the full day is ten hours; the racing on its own is 4:04pm to 7:00pm.
- The daylight half is qualifying: six groups across 250 and 450 from 9:30am to 1:57pm, with KTM Junior practice between them and the first two minutes of each session free practice.
- The track is built on the baseball field, so every seat is in the permanent stadium bowl and the whole layout is visible from any seat.
- The 450 main was red flagged on the opening lap in 2026 after a multi rider crash and restarted in full.
