Overview

Aibetsu Kartland ARK is a full-size racing-kart track in Kanatomi, Aibetsu Town, northern Hokkaido. The course is about 650 m long with an ~80 m straight and offers single and two-seater rental karts, plus junior karts and bikes.

The facility operates seasonally from spring (mid–late April) through autumn (October) and provides helmets and gloves for loan. Typical rental runs are ~7 minutes (about 10 laps) with published prices for adults and children.

What to Expect

On arrival you'll register and get fitted with a helmet and gloves (provided on loan).

What you'll do

Brief safety and track orientation before your run.
Take a ~7-minute rental session (about 10 laps) on the 650 m course, reaching up to ~60 km/h.
Choose two-seater karts to ride with kids, or junior karts for younger drivers.
Option to book repeat runs at a discounted rate the same day.

Best way to plan

Aim for mid-morning to avoid any brief reservation-only windows on weekdays. Bring closed-toe shoes and allow extra time for instruction if it’s your first karting experience.
