2027 World of Outlaws Late Models Illini 100
About This Event
The Illini 100 is the World of Outlaws Late Models' first Midwest race of 2027, on a high banked quarter mile of black dirt at the Farmer City fairgrounds. The national touring field races two nights on that bullring in central Illinois, after a winter of rounds in Florida, Mississippi and Tennessee.
What to Expect
- Two nights of racing, Friday 9 and Saturday 10 April, each listed as its own race on the 2027 series schedule.
- The field is the World of Outlaws Late Model Series touring field, which the series bills as The Most Powerful Late Models on the Planet.
- A pit pass puts fans in the pit area with the teams for the night or nights it covers.
- Champaign Urbana's April normals are about 17°C (63°F) by day and 5°C (42°F) overnight, with about 100 mm (3.9 inches) of rain across the month, per the Illinois State Climatologist's 1991 to 2020 figures.
Best Way to Experience It
- The 2 day ticket covers both nights for US$5 less than buying Friday and Saturday separately, in general admission or reserved, and advance prices hold until 8 April.
- Reserved seats are the numbered top five rows of Sections A to E; general admission is the rest of the bleachers.
- Pit passes are sold for Friday, Saturday or both days.
Good to Know
- Driving: Farmer City sits between Bloomington Normal to the north west and Champaign to the south east. From Interstate 74 take exit 159, go south on State Route 54 for 0.6 mile (1 km), then turn right onto US Route 150 and go west for 0.7 mile (1.1 km); the fairgrounds are on the right. The pit entrance is the first entrance before the American Legion and the fan entrance is the second. Parking on racetrack property is free.
- Public transport: The series names Bloomington (BMI) as the closest airport, with Champaign (CMI) as the other option.
- Rideshare and taxis: Uber and Lyft both list Champaign and Bloomington among the cities they serve.
- Best value route: Bloomington (BMI) is the closer of the two airports the series names, and both rideshare apps serve Bloomington.
- Tickets: From US$30 for Friday adult general admission, sold through the series' tickets.com page or by phone on 844 347 8849; event pricing starts 9 April.
- Bringing things in: No coolers in the grandstand area, and no smoking in the grandstands.
- Food and drink: Alcohol is sold at the concession stands.
- Camping: On site without power, US$30 to US$50. For the Illini 100, reserved camping and the Turn 1 and 2 fence parking spots are booked through the series at worldofoutlaws.com/tix, not the track, and reserved camping does not include admission.
