2027 Syracuse Nationals

• Three days, Thursday 15 to Saturday 17 July 2027, with show cars through the fairgrounds' exhibition halls and outdoor lots.
• Inside the halls: restored and unrestored survivor cars in Memories on Main Street in the Science and Industry Building, hand picked high end builds in the Syracuse Signature Showcase and pinstriping and airbrush artists at the Charity BrushFest in the Exposition Center, and the Mini Nationals model car show in the Center of Progress Building.
• Outside: Pro Street Alley in the Midway Lot, the C10 Invasion of classic full size GM trucks (more than 200 in 2026), and a car corral and swap meet for used parts on the paved lot in front of the Exposition Center.
• Sparky's Rockabilly Round Up in the Beef Barn brings rat rods and live music.
• Mid July in Syracuse averages a high of about 84°F (29°C) and a low of about 62°F (17°C).

Best Way to Experience It

• Gates open at 8am all three days. Thursday runs latest, to 9pm, while Friday and Saturday close at 6pm.
• A one day ticket is good for any single day and a three day wristband, handed out at the gate, covers all three. The 2027 presale is on sale online at US$20 for one day or US$55 for the wristband, plus a booking fee, and prices go up on show days (a one day gate ticket was US$30 in 2026). NAPA discount tickets reach select NAPA stores in June 2027.

Good to Know

• Driving: The New York State Fairgrounds are at 581 State Fair Blvd, west of downtown Syracuse. Parking in 2026 was US$15 a vehicle in the Brown and Orange lots across State Fair Boulevard; the 2027 parking price is not yet announced by the organiser.
• Public transport: Amtrak trains stop at the Syracuse Regional Transportation Center, and Centro bus route SY 50 runs from there to Destiny USA.
• Rideshare and taxis: Uber and Lyft both operate in Syracuse, including pickups at Syracuse Hancock International Airport.
• Best value route: In 2026 the cheapest way in was free parking at Destiny USA's Red Lot (the former JC Penney lot by Macy's) with the complimentary Visit Syracuse shuttle to the fairgrounds, which looped from 10am to 5pm each day with limited bus capacity. The 2027 shuttle is not yet announced by the organiser.
• Getting around inside: Trams run continuously around the fairgrounds during the show.
• Cash and cards: Cash and credit cards were both accepted at the entrance gates in 2026.
• Camping: 2027 camping opened for booking on 1 October 2026 by phone on 1 800 753 3978 (Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 5pm): full hookup sites with water and electric, dry sites, and spots picked from the camping map. Campers can bring golf carts, but only staff carts can drive on the show grounds during show hours.
• Where to stay: In 2026 the show's hotel block ran from US$134 a night at Candlewood Suites Syracuse North Airport to US$289 at Embassy Suites Destiny USA and Fairfield by Marriott, booked by quoting the Syracuse Nationals Group Block. The 2027 block is not yet announced by the organiser.

• Suitable for kids? Children aged 12 years and under get in free, and children under 16 years of age riding in a registered show car are free as well.
• Bringing the dog? Pets are not allowed on the show grounds. Leashed dogs are allowed in the campgrounds only.
• Limited mobility? Gate 3 is the ADA entrance, and Event Scooters rents scooters inside the show to the right of Gate 3 (reserve on 1 262 677 2697 or at eventscooters.com). The Pink Lot across State Fair Boulevard is for accessible parking only.
• Showing a newer car? The main show is closed to cars built after 2001. In 2026 modern muscle had its own invite only area, Modern Muscle Elite, with more than 150 cars. 2027 show car registration is open online.
• Selling parts? The car corral and swap meet takes used items only, at US$75 per 18 by 9 ft space including one weekend pass, with registration on site only at Gate 7 in the days before the show.
