2027 MotoGP Grand Prix of Czechia

BRNO Circuit · Brno, Czech Republic16–18 Jul 20273 days

About This Event

Brno's Grand Prix lap rises and falls 73.75 m on a hillside west of the city, with a climb of up to 7.5% over 917 m. The crowd watches from six grass banks, the natural grandstands lettered B to G, and six seated grandstands, T1 to T6, spread around the lap.

What to Expect

  • In 2026 the weekend ran practice on Friday, qualifying and the MotoGP Sprint on Saturday, and the Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP races on Sunday.
  • The lap is 5,403 m with 14 corners (6 left, 8 right) and a longest straight of 636.56 m, and its steepest drop is 5% over 410 m.
  • LED screens stand on natural grandstands C, D, F and G.
  • T3 is the roofed seated grandstand, covered from sun and rain, and the organiser is building a new roof over T1 in the Stadium section for 2027.

Best Way to Experience It

  • A three day Gold general admission ticket opens every grass bank from B to G, entry through any gate, the central area, the START and SCHWANTZ underpasses and the shopping zone, so Friday practice is the time to walk the banks and pick a spot for Saturday's Sprint and Sunday's races.
  • Silver is the cheaper three day general admission pass and covers the outer banks B, D, E and G, without the central area or the main entrance.
  • The Friday only Gold ticket is sold as the "Experience Brno for the First Time" ticket: one practice day with Gold access.
  • Every three day seated grandstand ticket includes a reserved seat plus all the banked areas, so a seat holder can still move around the banks between sessions.

Good to Know

  • Driving: The circuit is west of Brno. Exits 178 (Ostrovačice) and 182 (Kývalka) on the D1 motorway lead to signs for Autodrom, Grand Prix and Paddock. In 2026 parking was near the circuit in dry weather. 2027 parking areas and prices are not yet announced by the organiser.
  • Public transport: Tram 8 runs from Brno main station (Hlavní nádraží) to Nemocnice Bohunice, where regular bus 402 goes to the circuit. In 2026 the city operator DPMB added free event bus C from Nemocnice Bohunice (platform 3) to the Automotodrom, Start stop, and a free loop, bus Z, through Popůvky, Troubsko and Žebětín for people staying near the circuit.
  • Rideshare and taxis: Uber, including its Brno taxi option, and Bolt both run in Brno.
  • Best value route: Without a car, the cheapest 2026 option was tram 8 at the regular city fare to Nemocnice Bohunice, then the free bus C to the circuit. 2027 event buses are not yet announced.
  • Getting home: In 2026 bus C ran back to Nemocnice Bohunice until 22:00 on Friday and Saturday and until 19:00 on Sunday, with extra trams P6 and P8 from Nemocnice Bohunice into the city until 19:30 on Saturday and Sunday.
  • Tickets: From €37 (about US$42) in 2027 for a Friday Gold ticket. Sales run on vstupenky.motogpczechia.com, where an account is needed, and through the Ticketportal network. 2025 and 2026 visitors get a loyalty price with their 2026 ticket number or an emailed code. Tickets are valid only for the day and event printed on them, and resale is banned under the ticket terms.
  • Bringing things in: Under the circuit rules, water up to 1.5 litres per person in a PET bottle, small cold snacks for your own use in one plastic bag, folding chairs on the grass banks and flags on poles up to 1.6 m are allowed. Alcohol, glass, cans, grills, animals and professional cameras are not, drones need the circuit's written consent, and bags are checked at entry.
  • Camping: Moto Camp A is the organiser's camp inside general admission Area A, three nights from Thursday to Sunday for one person, one tent and one motorcycle, with secure bike parking, showers, its own food and drink zone, a big screen and entertainment on Friday and Saturday evenings. It includes the banks B to G and can be booked without a motorcycle, but cars cannot park on site.
