2027 MotoGP Red Bull Grand Prix of Australia
Adelaide Street Circuit · Adelaide, Australia12–14 Nov 20273 days
About This Event
This is the first MotoGP race ever held on a city street circuit, run through the Park Lands at the edge of Adelaide's city centre. The 4.13 km, 15 corner lap is a new take on the Formula 1 era Adelaide circuit, with a new stadium section and start finish straight in Victoria Park (Pakapakanthi).
What to Expect
- The lap brings back Stag Corner for the first time in more than 25 years, along with Rundle Road and Brewery Bend. The Senna Chicane is realigned into a new fast section leading to Stag Corner, a hairpin ends the 900 m Dequetteville Terrace straight, and a revised turn off Wakefield Road sweeps past the grandstand before the final corner onto the new pit straight.
- 2027 is the first season of MotoGP's new rules: 850cc engines down from 1000cc, less aero, ride height and holeshot devices banned, and 100% sustainable fuel.
- Three days on track, Friday 12 to Sunday 14 November, with the Grand Prix on the Sunday. Adelaide is the second last round of the 2027 season, two weeks before the Valencia finale.
- November in Adelaide averages 25.3°C by day and 14.0°C at night, with 29.6 mm of rain over 4.6 rain days (Kent Town, Bureau of Meteorology long term average).
Best Way to Experience It
- The Heritage Grandstand in Victoria Park is built into the new layout as a central part of the spectator experience, with the action brought much closer to it than on the old circuit.
- MotoGP's official package site lists Adelaide packages with grandstand seats or MotoGP VIP Village hospitality, and experiences including a Team Garage Experience, Paddock Access, Pit Lane Walks, rider and insider Q&As and a photo with the World Champions trophy.
Good to Know
- Driving: The circuit is in Victoria Park (Pakapakanthi), the parkland between Hutt Street, Greenhill Road, Fullarton Road and Wakefield Road. Road closures for MotoGP run the same way as for the bp Adelaide Grand Final, and event parking for 2027 is not yet announced by the organiser.
- Public transport: O-Bahn buses keep running, but the O-Bahn city tunnel between Hackney Road and East Terrace closes the day before and during the event, with services diverted through the city. Spectator transport for 2027 is not yet announced by the organiser.
- Rideshare and taxis: Uber runs 24/7 in Adelaide and DiDi also operates in the city. A rideshare drop off and pick up point for 2027 is not yet announced by the organiser.
- Best value route: To be confirmed once the organiser publishes 2027 transport. The circuit sits in the Park Lands on the city's edge.
- Tickets: Not on sale yet and 2027 prices are not yet announced. Registering at motogpadl.com.au covers general admission, grandstand, and hospitality and experiences, and registered fans are told first when tickets go on sale.

Is This Event Right For You?
- Used to the Phillip Island weekend? From 2027 the Australian round runs on a temporary street circuit in Adelaide's Park Lands, staged by the South Australian Motor Sport Board, so the island's campgrounds, coaches and Island Pass are not part of this event.
- Want MotoGP and Supercars in one trip? The Supercars bp Adelaide Grand Final runs on the same redeveloped circuit on a separate November 2027 weekend, with roughly ten days planned between the two events. The Supercars date is not yet confirmed.
