2027 Formula 1 Hard Rock Miami Grand Prix

• Round 6 of the 2027 season runs the standard format with no Sprint: Friday 30 April has two practice sessions, Saturday 1 May has final practice and qualifying, and Sunday 2 May is the Grand Prix. Session times are not yet published.
• The 5.412 km circuit has 19 corners, and its only real climb comes between Turns 13 and 16, where the track crosses an exit ramp and runs under flyovers before the uphill, cresting chicane at Turns 14 and 15.
• New builds for 2027: the Paddock Club now reaches Turn 1, the Start/Finish Grandstand is extended, the Turn 18 Grandstand is bigger, the five level MSC Yacht Club returns over Turns 5 to 9, and eight teams get their own grandstand sections: Ferrari, Williams, Audi, McLaren, Red Bull, Haas, Cadillac and Racing Bulls.
• Early May in Miami averages a high of 30°C (87°F) and a low of 23°C (73°F), with rain on about 11 days of the month, just before the wet season starts on 15 May.

Best Way to Experience It

• Formula 1 names Turns 1, 11 and 17 as the best passing spots: the Turn 1 Grandstand covers Turns 1 to 3, the Beach Grandstands Turns 11 and 12, and the Turn 18 Grandstand Turns 17 to 19.
• The Start/Finish Grandstand faces the starting grid and the pit lane, so the race start and the pit stops happen in front of it.
• The Grandstand Pass seats you in a different grandstand each day, Turn 1 North, Marina and Turn 18, and the package chosen sets which of the three is yours for Sunday's race.
• Every ticket holder can go up to the 300 level of Hard Rock Stadium, which looks over the track and the Team Village, and Formula 1 says the top deck takes in every corner.

Good to Know

• Driving: The circuit is at Hard Rock Stadium, 347 Don Shula Drive, Miami Gardens, north of downtown Miami. Parking for 2027 is not on sale yet.
• Public transport: Brightline runs to its Aventura station from Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach and Orlando. In 2026 Aventura station was one of the promoter's drop points, with a free shuttle to the circuit; the 2027 shuttle is not yet announced by the organiser.
• Rideshare and taxis: Uber and Lyft both operate in Miami. In 2026 the promoter sent every rideshare to an off site lot with a free shuttle to the gates: Brightline Aventura station to the east, Lot 95 (16000 NW 7th Ave) to the south and Lot 70 (1 Seminole Way, Hollywood) to the north, with the same lot used for the ride home.
• Best value route: Brightline to Aventura and the free shuttle, the 2026 setup, needs no parking pass and no rideshare fare.
• Tickets: Grandstand seats from US$685, and a Campus Pass is held with a US$100 deposit while its full price is still to come.
