2027 ADAC Hockenheim Historic

Hockenheimring Baden-Württemberg · Hockenheim, Germany7–9 May 20273 days

About This Event

ADAC Hockenheim Historic is the Jim Clark Revival, a weekend of historic racing at the circuit where the two time Formula 1 world champion was killed in a Formula 2 race in April 1968. Formula cars, touring cars and sports cars from across the decades share the Grand Prix track, and every spectator ticket opens the paddock where those cars are worked on between sessions.

What to Expect

  • Three days of historic racing on the Hockenheimring Grand Prix circuit, Friday 7 to Sunday 9 May 2027. The 2027 series line up and timetable are not out yet.
  • The paddock is part of every spectator ticket, so the race cars can be seen up close while the teams work on them between sessions.
  • Marque club cars fill a club area at the East Grandstand on Saturday and Sunday.
  • A temporary campsite, C3, is set up next to the circuit for the race weekend.

Best Way to Experience It

  • A weekend ticket covers Friday to Sunday and costs less than separate Saturday and Sunday tickets at 2027 presale prices.
  • Friday is sold as its own day ticket and is the cheapest of the three days.
  • Every ticket gives a free choice of seat on any open grandstand. The organiser announces which stands are open in race week.
  • Campsite C3 opens on the Thursday, so a tent or motorhome beside the circuit plus a weekend ticket covers all three days of track running.

Good to Know

  • Driving: From the north, the A 6 exit 29 Schwetzingen/Hockenheim, or the A 61 exit 64 Hockenheim and then the L 722. From the south, the A 5 exit 39 Walldorf and then the B 39. The organiser recommends parking areas P1 and P2 for traffic from the north. Parking is free from 6am to 8pm.
  • Public transport: Trains run to Hockenheim station from Karlsruhe and Mannheim, and the venue gives the walk from the station to the circuit as about 30 minutes. A city bus stops at Waldstrasse/Friedhof, about 500 metres from the circuit, but it does not run on Sundays and stops at 2pm on Saturdays.
  • Rideshare and taxis: Uber runs from Heidelberg to Hockenheim, with UberX, UberXL and Uber Taxi listed on its own route page.
  • Best value route: The train to Hockenheim and the walk from the station is the cheapest way in without a car. Uber from Heidelberg is the door to door option.
  • Tickets: Weekend tickets are from €54 in 2027 presale at tickets.hockenheimring.de, with free print at home or free collection on site. Pupils, trainees and students pay half.
  • Bringing things in: The circuit allows a normal amount of food and drink for your own use. Glass bottles, folding chairs, animals, camera lenses over 40 cm and tripods in the stands are not allowed.
  • Cash and cards: There is an ATM in front of the Welcome Center. 2027 catering vouchers sold in the ticket shop give up to 10% off food and drink.
  • Camping: Campsite C3 opens Thursday 6 May 2027 at 8am and has to be cleared by Monday at noon. 2027 presale tent tickets are €85 per person Thursday to Sunday, €60 Friday to Sunday and €30 Saturday to Sunday, plus a motorhome ticket of €10 to €30 by length.
