2026 Wheels Nationals

Wheels Nationals — Winter is a car‑culture cruise and swapmeet hosted by Wheels Magazine aboard M/S Birka Gotland. The event runs 5–6 February 2026 and departs from the Viking Line/Stadsgårdskajen area in Stockholm.

Expect showroom cars, indoor swapmeet stands, live rock'n'roll entertainment and on‑board social events focused on classic and custom car communities rather than timed competition.

A compact two‑day cruise built around car culture, trade stalls and on‑board shows on M/S Birka Gotland.

What makes it worth the trip:

• Direct access to a large indoor swapmeet and vendor area on the ship, useful in winter weather.
• Close contact with builders, collectors and specialist suppliers concentrated on one vessel, making networking efficient.
• Evening entertainment and a cruise atmosphere that combines a car show with social events.

Best way to experience it:

Book early through the organiser to secure boarding and any exhibitor space, arrive at the Viking Line terminal with sufficient time for vehicle boarding procedures, and prioritize the swapmeet hours listed on the organiser booking page.

Good to know:

• Boarding/departure and return times are published by the organiser (departure ~17:30 Thursday, return ~14:30 Friday); follow organiser instructions for vehicle boarding.
• The event is organised by Wheels Magazine and presented as a cruise/trade meet, not a motorsport competition under a sanctioning body.

• Great if you want concentrated access to swapmeet vendors and parts in a winter setting.
• Great if you enjoy meeting classic and custom car builders in a relaxed cruise environment.
• Great if you like short, social car events that combine show space with evening entertainment.
• Maybe skip if you prefer open-air summer car meets or formal motorsport competition.
