2026 The Grand Picnic

A one-day car community gathering at Safa Park featuring vintage, classic and supercars. The event runs Sunday 15 February 2026 from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM and is organised by Flat 12.

Car participation required registration; general attendees can visit on foot. The event enforces no revving, no burnouts and park rules such as no barbecues.

This is a relaxed, enthusiast-led car meet that draws restored classics, tuners and a few modern supercars. It’s useful for photographers, families who enjoy automotive displays, and owners showing registered cars.

What makes it worth the trip:

• See a curated mix of vintage, modified and performance cars in a park setting.
• Easy access for pedestrians and public transport; long event hours let you visit outside peak heat.
• Family-friendly layout with space to walk, photograph and enjoy nearby park facilities.

Best way to experience it:

Arrive mid-morning to find good parking and prime photo light; if you have an approved car, register in advance and follow organiser rules. Bring water, sun protection and comfortable shoes for walking between displays.

Good to know:

• Car entry required prior registration and approved cars pay 200 AED; registrations may be closed in advance.
• Tickets are non-refundable and cannot be transferred between cars.

• Great if you want close-up views of restored and rare cars in a relaxed park setting.
• Great if you enjoy automotive photography or casual car spotting.
• Great if you like community-led, family-friendly automotive events.
• Maybe skip if you prefer high-speed track action or competitive motorsport.
