2026 Sydney Harbour Concours d'Elegance

A heritage-focused showcase of concours-quality cars, motorcycles and boats set on Cockatoo Island in Sydney Harbour. The main program runs 27 Feb–1 Mar 2026 with a free preview display on Bennelong Lawn at the Opera House on 26 Feb.

Expect judged classes, international-standard winners and a mix of vintage and modern machinery framed by the island's industrial heritage and harbour views.

Walk among restored classics and contemporary supercars against the industrial backdrop of Cockatoo Island.

What makes it worth the trip:

• International judging with award-winning entries, including separate pre‑war and post‑war classes.
• Compact site layout makes it easy to view rare cars, motorcycles and boats without long walks between displays.
• Harbour setting and Bennelong Lawn preview add striking photo opportunities and a chance to see entries arriving by water.

Best way to experience it:

Arrive by ferry or water taxi to Cockatoo Island early in the day to avoid peak crowds, see the Bennelong Lawn display if you can, and follow the judged classes in the official program to catch presentation times. Bring comfortable shoes for uneven heritage surfaces and check the organiser site for class schedules and any entry gates.

Good to know:

• Bennelong Lawn preview (26 Feb) is free; Cockatoo Island days (27 Feb–1 Mar) are ticketed via the event site.
• Cockatoo Island has limited on‑island facilities and heritage uneven ground; accessibility information is on the venue site.

• Great if you want close-up access to concours-quality vehicles and judged presentations.
• Great if you enjoy photography with harbour and heritage backdrops.
• Great if you like structured shows where judged classes and winners are highlighted.
• Maybe skip if you prefer large open racetrack events or high-speed demonstrations.
